Landback is a game that combines platforming, puzzle-solving, and farming mechanics. In the overworld, besides choosing which levels to play, you can manage your own farm by growing crops and collecting items. These resources will help you overcome the challenges of the levels more easily.

In a world where land is a limited and highly contested resource, everyone lives on floating islands in the skies. You and your family have been displaced to a lower level and must now start over. To rebuild your lives, you'll need to construct a new home, develop your farm, and produce food while completing levels to gather Materials (the local currency). These resources will allow you to acquire items essential for your family's survival.
